Jamal Murray has made history.

In this latest exciting bit of Denver Nuggets news, the 21-year-old point guard made this history by becoming the youngest player in the history of the franchise to record at least 15 assists in a game.

Murray's career-high number of assists came Tuesday night during the team's 126-118 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Additionally, Murray provided 22 points (10-18 FG, 1-4 3PT, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, one steal, and one block — all in a span of 39 minutes.

Thanks to Murray's quick thinking, his team was able to score throughout the night. He also shot better than 50 percent for the third time over the course of four games.

Overall, Murray is averaging 17.6 points, 5.1 assists and 4.5 rebounds across 34 games.

Murray is quickly shaping up to be one of the Nuggets' finest players. He, along with Serbian power forward Nikola Jokic, are proving to be a dynamic duo, especially in the face of players like Michael Porter Jr., Jarred Vanderbilt, Isaiah Thomas, Will Barton, Gary Harris, and Paul Millsap getting sidelined with injuries.

While Murray has been excellent, Jokic is looking like an MVP candidate for the 21-9 Nuggets.

Jamal Murray and the Nuggets are next set to play against the Clippers on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. ET.
