The Denver Nuggets put on an offensive clinic on Tuesday night, dropping 124 points on the Portland Trailblazers en route to a Game 5 victory. The Nuggets looked comfortable all night on the offensive side of the floor, swinging the ball effortlessly for countless open baskets.

Nuggets head coach Mike Malone praised his team's execution, pointing to the offensive selflessness:

The Nuggets recorded 26 assists, seven more than the Blazers. They dominated Portland in almost every aspect of the game but specifically points in the paint. The Nuggets scored 66 paint points to only 44 from the Blazers.

Pretty much every Denver player who saw minutes did something impressive offensively. Nikola Jokic put up yet another ridiculous stat line, scoring 25 points, grabbing 19 boards, and dishing out six dimes. Paul Millsap put on a show himself, scoring 24 points and pulling down eight rebounds.

Denver played their most impressive offensive game of the postseason at the perfect time. Game 5 is usually the swinging point of a series when the two teams are locked in a tie, and the Nuggets made certain to secure their home court and force the Blazers to win back to back games.

Now, Denver will have to travel back to Moda Center and try to avoid a Game 7. Game 6 will take place on Thursday, May 9, at 7;30 PM PST.  The Nuggets will look to continue their offensive dominance, while the Blazers will have to rebound from a humiliating loss.
