The Green Bay Packers are atop the NFC North still with an 8-2 record. While the team is seeing success under Matt LaFleur, Aaron Rodgers has the third-best odds to win the NFL's MVP Award per Adam Schefter.

The Packers' franchise quarterback has totaled 2,718 yards, 17 touchdowns, and only two interceptions. Above all, Rodgers has a 102.7 passer rating through the first 11 weeks.

That is the highest his passer rating has been since the 2016 season. Altogether, Rodgers is on pace to finish the season with 4,348 yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions.

The only players ahead of Rodgers in the odds to win MVP are Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson. With Jackson and Wilson contributing on the ground to go along with their passing numbers, it's tough to envision Rodgers winning the trophy.

Over his 15-year career, Rodgers has won two MVP awards in 2011 and 2014. Back in 2011, the veteran signal-caller torched opposing defenses for 4,643, 45 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Then, in 2014, Rodgers took home the award by contributing 4,381 yards, 38 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Unless Rodgers begins lighting it up every single week, his numbers in 2019 won't come close to those previous numbers.

Nevertheless, Rodgers seems to be becoming more and more comfortable in LaFleur's offense. While Rodgers may want to win MVP, his focus is likely on finishing the season strong.

The Packers are only half a game ahead of the Minnesota Vikings for the lead of the division. Green Bay would love to win the division for the first time since 2016. On the other hand, having Rodgers win his third MVP trophy would be the cherry on top for Green Bay's regular season.
