There are a lot of question marks when it comes to the story behind Aaron Rodgers' most recent injury: his toe. While on the Pat MacAfee Show, the Green Bay Packers QB refused to share how he got the injury, but said that it happened while he was in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 earlier this month.

McAfee questioned Rodgers on multiple health issues that would hinder his ability to play against the Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday. This included COVID related issues like cardio and heart health, as well as a toe injury.

Rodgers went into detail on how he monitored his health and his readiness to face Russell Wilson on Sunday. But the only thing he revealed about the origin of his toe injury is that it “was a COVID injury.”

Many NFL fans and loyal Cheeseheads are wondering whether or not this could become another roadblock in the Packers‘ season, but Rodgers was able to put their minds at ease.

“It's a little painful but I think I'll be okay. I was able to run around a little bit on Sunday,” Rodgers said jokingly.

The quarterback led his team to a 17-0 victory against Seattle, who also saw their star quarterback Russell Wilson return from the IR. Rodgers threw for 292 yards and ran for 8 yards in the snowy homefield shutout.

For now, a healthy Aaron Rodgers is looking to lead his team in a victory against the Vikings in Minnesota on Sunday.
