Green Bay Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers reportedly missed practice on Wednesday due to a lingering toe injury. The reigning league MVP aggravated the injury on Sunday as the Packers took down the Chicago Bears, 45-30. As it turns out, however, the victory came at quite a price for Rodgers.

Rodgers earlier revealed that he was playing through significant pain during the Bears game. Apparently, it was early in the contest that he reaggravated the injury (h/t Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette):

On Sunday, Rodgers completed 29-of-37 passes against the Bears for 341 yards and four touchdowns. The Packers star was in MVP form and it didn't look like the toe injury bothered him that much.

The Packers have unsurprisingly given their star quarterback virtually the whole week to rest and recover. Nevertheless, it does not sound like Rodgers is going to miss any time because of this injury despite the recent setback.

The Packers return to action on Sunday in a matchup against the Baltimore Ravens and we fully expect Rodgers to suit up for that one. At 10-3, Green Bay continues to sit comfortably atop the NFC North. The regular season is winding down but at this point, it doesn't seem like Rodgers is going to be taking time off to deal with this problematic injury.
