Aaron Rodgers might still be having a hard time sleeping these days after the Green Bay Packers got upset by the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.

But aside from stewing on the what-ifs, the star quarterback still has a lot of other more pressing issues racking his brain. For starters, his much-awaited decision if he will stay with the Packers or look for—pun intended—greener pastures. Many speculations have been floated around, but it appears Rodgers is keen on staying put if his latest remarks would be interpreted (via ESPN).

“I feel like I'm at the place relationally with the Packers—in a really good place, especially with (general manager) Brian (Gutekunst) and the way our friendship and trust has grown—where it would be a simple conversation and whatever comes out of the conversation is moving forward. There's not going to be a weird standoff, war of silence or anything. Brian and I have had good conversations throughout the year, and when it comes time to make a decision, we'll have a conversation and that'll be that. It won't be a long, drawn-out process. “

According to reports, despite their bitter exit, the Packers' decision-makers are in unison in wanting Rodgers back. To recall, the three-time MVP was at odds with the front office in the last offseason, giving birth to trade rumors. But things were smoothened out, and Rodgers went to deliver another MVP-like campaign.

It will be interesting how the upcoming days will unfold for the Packers.
