Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers faces an uncertain future with the team amid various reports suggesting the veteran QB may look to force a trade away from the franchise this offseason. With the rumors flaring regarding Rodgers' future with the Packers, the Denver Broncos have been linked to the 38-year-old.
While participating in the Phoenix Waste Management Open golf tournament on Wednesday, Broncos fans were recruiting Rodgers to Denver ahead of one of his drives, and in a surprising move, Rodgers acknowledged them with a somewhat cryptic response.

Ahead of Rodgers' tee shot, Broncos fans in the crowd could be heard shouting “Come to Denver!” in the direction of the veteran quarterback. Surprisingly, Rodgers played into their recruitment pitches, responding with a simple message: “We'll see.”
The fact that Rodgers even acknowledged these fans during the golf tournament will certainly add fuel to the rumors surrounding his exit, as well as those linking him to the Broncos. While the Packers are determined to keep Rodgers on the roster, a trade request from the franchise legend could force their hand. Despite the uncertainty there, Green Bay intends to start the 2022 season with Rodgers as its starting quarterback, barring a sudden change of heart.
With the Broncos in the market for a new quarterback, the links to Rodgers certainly make sense. And, clearly, fans in Denver are in full support of the prospect of bringing one of the most talented QBs in league history to town to potentially compete for a Super Bowl as early as next season.
