The Green Bay Packers have been the talk of the NFL for the entire week since former head coach Mike McCarthy was fired after the team's unlikely loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and McCarthy were reportedly not seeing eye to eye like they once used to.

McCarthy would reportedly call plays that Rodgers would not agree with and sometimes change. No matter the case, McCarthy is out and Rodgers will look to bounce back from the tough loss as well as all of the adversity from this past week. At least that's what Colin Cowherd believes.

Rodgers is arguably the league's best quarterback and clearly has plenty of gas left in the tank in terms of arm strength and mobility. Rodgers plays his heart out on a weekly basis and his competitive drive has never been questioned. Now with a head coaching change it's very likely this lights a fire inside of Rodgers and as well as the rest of the Packers going forward.

Aaron Rodgers will likely play a bigger part in calling plays on the offensive side of the ball considering he has had incredible success over the years with the Packers. Rodgers has won a Super Bowl with the Packer back in 2010 over the Pittsburgh Steelers in addition to his two MVP awards in 2011 and 2014. Rodgers has a great supporting cast around him with players like Davante Adams, Jimmy Graham, and Aaron Jones.

The tools are there for the Packers to salvage their season to the best of their abilities and unfortunately McCarthy's departure may be the key to success going forward.
