The Green Bay Packers are seeking receivers to step up and fill-in alongside Devante Adams. There are a lot of impressive candidates to do; with Geronimo Allison, Equanimous St. Brown, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and J'Mon Moore chief among them. Left tackle David Bakhtiari offers another name to throw in the mix, Trevor Davis.

Bakhtiari joined “The Rich Eisen Show” to talk Packers, where he was asked by Rich Eisen who a sleeper offensive player on the roster is.

“The true dark horse, I’m going to go Trevor Davis. The way he plays fits this offense very well. It shows.”

Davis, drafted in the fifth-round in 2016, hasn't yet produced on a large scale in the NFL. His career line is 8/94/1, and he missed most of 2018 with a lingering hamstring injury. But, during both spring and summer practices, he's shown up and made an impact in large part due to his speed (4.42 second 40-time) and athleticism.

Aaron Rodgers sees the promise in Davis as well, as he said to the media during OTAs, “Every day, there’s been one play he’s made that jumps out on the film.”

However, he's going to have to keep impressing to make the roster. The four previously mentioned — Adams, Allison, St. Brown, Valdes-Scantling, and Moore are locks or near locks to make the roster considering production and draft capital.

He'll have to compete with Allen Lazard, Teo Redding, and a trio of undrafted talents for the final, potential sixth wide receiver spot; if LaFleur intends on keeping six on the 53-man roster.
