The Green Bay Packers have agreed to bring back veteran cornerback Davon House on a one-year deal, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Meanwhile, Rob Demovsky of ESPN confirmed the report, but also added that House is scheduled to visit the Packers tomorrow in order to take a physical and officially sign.

House, 28, was a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2011. He began his second stint with the Packers last year as he signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal after spending two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

House recorded 44 total tackles, one interception, one sack, and six passes defended in 12 games (all starts) last season as he dealt with quad and shoulder injuries. He has three interceptions, three sacks, 33 passes defended, and 136 total tackles in his 52 career games with the Packers.

House will be a familiar face in a Packers secondary which lost both cornerback Damarious Randall and safety Morgan Burnett this offseason. He should be a strong contender to continue starting at cornerback for the Packers for the upcoming season, especially after the departure of Randall.

Incoming second-year corner Kevin King could be in line to start opposite House for the upcoming season. Green Bay also brought back 35-year-old veteran Tramon Williams in free agency this offseason for his second stint with the Packers, and he may be another option to start.
