Geronimo Allison was beaten up in Week 6 for the Green Bay Packers with head and chest injuries that caused him to make an early exit against the Detroit Lions. Despite the injuries, Allison has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game versus the Oakland Raiders per Ian Rapoport.

Throughout the week, Allison has failed to practice in any fashion for the Packers. After being listed as doubtful earlier in the week, he has made enough progress to give himself a chance to play in Week 7.

With Davante Adams missing his third consecutive game, Green Bay is gradually getting thinner at the wide receiver position. Therefore, it would be helpful if Allison is able to suit up on Sunday—even if he's somewhat limited.

This season, Allison has yet to take advantage of the opportunities that he's been given in the offense. Furthermore, he has caught just 13 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns from Aaron Rodgers.

Last week, in the game against the Lions, Allison had one of his worst games of the season before he got injured. The fourth-year wideout out of Illinois caught just three of his seven targets for 40 yards; with two of those targets being crucial drops from Allison.

Due to the scarcity at the wide receiver position, Allen Lazard was able to turn some heads in Week 6. Lazard, an undrafted rookie from 2018, was able to catch four passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Detroit.

Along with Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling is also questionable for the Packers on Sunday.

If both Allison and Valdes-Scantling are out, Lazard and Jake Kumerow would be the next receivers up.
