Jimmy Graham's disappointing tenure with the Green Bay Packers appears to be coming to an end.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Packers will be releasing Graham on Thursday.

The tight end signed a three-year deal with Green Bay in March 2018. He played in every game during his first season with the club and was fairly productive, catching 55 passes for 636 yards and a couple of touchdowns, but this past year, Graham's production plummeted, as he logged just 38 catches for 447 yards and three scores.

Graham, who played his collegiate football at the University of Miami, was originally selected by the New Orleans Saints in the third round (95th pick overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.

It didn't take long for Graham to establish himself as one of the league's best tight ends, as he made the Pro Bowl as soon as his second season after hauling in 99 receptions for 1,310 yards while reaching the end zone 11 times.

The 33-year-old spent the first five seasons of his career with the Saints, making three Pro Bowl appearances while also earning a First-Team All-Pro selection in 2013 after leading the NFL with 16 touchdown grabs.

New Orleans traded Graham to the Seattle Seahawks in March 2015, which marked the beginning of a decline for the veteran.

He did manage to land notch back-to-back trips to the Pro Bowl in 2016 and 2017, but it was obvious that Graham had lost a step since his prime years with the Saints.

The Packers have long been expected to be in the market for a tight end this offseason, so Graham's seemingly inevitable departure does not come as much of a surprise.
