Running back A.J Dillon recently took to Twitter to reveal he has signed his rookie deal with the Green Bay Packers. It appears they have since managed to follow it up by agreeing to terms with quarterback Jordan Love as well.

The Packers announced that Love has now officially signed his rookie deal following prolonged negotiations due to the restrictions placed in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Love's four-year $12,383,470 contract is fully guaranteed.

Now that the Packers were able to take care of business with their first two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, they can focus on getting them better acquainted with the playbook with training camp beginning at the end of the month. With Love inked, they have now signed six of their nine draft picks.

Green Bay caught plenty of flak for their decision to trade a fourth-round pick to the Miami Dolphins order to move up four spots to select Love with the 26th overall pick. After all, quarterback Aaron Rodgers just led the team to an NFC Championship, and it also became evident that this offense was in desperate need of some more firepower by way of wide receivers.

Regardless, it is evident that the prospect of taking Love as Rodgers' future successor was too promising to pass on. There is now plenty of speculation regarding how this will affect the overall team chemistry in the locker room heading into the 2020 NFL season.

Rodgers is not the only one that will have some competition moving forward. Running back Aaron Jones will also be dealing with pressure from a promising rookie in Dillon.
