Jimmy Graham’s broken thumb apparently wasn’t the Green Bay Packers’ only significant injury casualty in Thursday night’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Top defensive lineman Mike Daniels also suffered a foot injury and could be out a few weeks, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Daniels met with specialist Dr. Robert Anderson and will get a more specific timeline later this week about how long he could be out.

Daniels has tallied 10 tackles and two sacks this season. He made it to the Pro Bowl season as he had five sacks and 49 tackles in 14 games.

The loss of Daniels will be a huge loss to a Packers defensive line which already lost Muhammad Wilkerson for the season after he suffered a serious ankle injury.

With Wilkerson and Daniels out, the Packers are now left with Dean Lowry, Kenny Clark, Montravious Adams, and rookie Tyler Lancaster along the offensive line. Third-year players Lowry and Clark are the most experienced players in that group, while no one is over the age of 25.

Daniels’ absence will make it that much tougher for the Packers to turn their season around and make the playoffs. The Packers’ next assignment will be next Sunday night on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers really could've used Daniels' presence to help slow down Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense. But they'll just have to make do without the Pro Bowl defensive lineman for the foreseeable future.
