Injuries continue to crush the Green Bay Packers, but head coach Mike McCarthy expressed some confidence that running back Ty Montgomery will be available this Sunday.

While talking to reporters ahead of practice on Wednesday, McCarthy briefly spoke on Montgomery's availability against the Baltimore Ravens as he continues to deal with a rib injury:

McCarthy on if RB Ty Montgomery (ribs) will be available this week: I'm hopeful. We'll see what today brings.

Montgomery first suffered broken ribs a few weeks back, limiting his carries over the last few weeks. Aaron Jones emerged as the primary back as Ty's recovery went on, but he was lost for 3-6 weeks in Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears with an MCL injury.

If Montgomery isn't able to go, 2017 fourth-round pick Jamaal Williams will handle the bulk of the snaps in Green Bay's backfield. He received 20 carries against the Bears, collecting 67 rushing yards.

There was also some mild concern about quarterback Brett Hundley after he suffered a hamstring strain in Chicago, but according to McCarthy, he was a full participant at today's practice, meaning he should be good to start for Green Bay against Baltimore. He collected the first victory of his career this past Sunday, completing 18-of-25 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown.
