It has been one stressful offseason so far for Green Bay Packers fans considering Aaron Rodgers' uncertain future with the team. But a simple tweet from Za'Darius Smith almost sent Packers fans into a frenzy.

On Friday, the Packers star linebacker tweeted out that he needs a “realtor in Green Bay ASAP!!”

Packers fans were already feeling a sense of uneasiness today after news broke out that star wideout Davante Adams and the team's front office have halted talks over a possible multiyear contract extension deal.

With a mere one tweet, Smith had fans speculating over whether his time with the team could soon be coming to an end.

Smith calmed down such fears later in the hour as he confirmed that he is just looking to buy a new home in the Green Bay area.

While the Packers are yet to resolve the long-term futures of both Rodgers and Adams, they surely can not afford to lose a defensive talent like Smith. He simply shined last year thanks to his 12.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss over the campaign.

Still, the Packers can feel assured that Smith has two more seasons remaining on his current contract deal with the team. More so, look for him to once again be among the leaders in total sacks over the upcoming new season, which is a feat that he is much capable of accomplishing at this stage in his notable career.
