The Carolina Panthers have been the surprise team of the season thus far. They became the first team in the NFL to go 3-0 after their Thursday Night Football win over the Houston Texans.

But that win didn't come without a cost, as the Panthers lost both star running back Christian McCaffrey and rookie cornerback Jaycee Horn to injury. While McCaffrey is obviously irreplaceable, looks like the team is eyeing former All Pro CB Richard Sherman to fill the void.

While there's no contesting the winning pedigree Richard Sherman would bring to the Panthers on the field, he recently made headlines off of it. The 5-time Pro Bowler was arrested on five different counts back in July. He has since expressed his remorse for everything that happened, and sent out a message to teams on why they should still give chance.

“I’ve got a decade worth of résumé that should stand more firmly than a momentary lapse in judgment. I’ve got a decade of character and tape to be judged off of… If you’re judging me off of a momentary lapse, I’m probably not the player for you either way.”

While there hasn't been an offer made just yet, the Panthers certainly look like a good spot for Richard Sherman to get another look.
