In the last several months there has been much scrutiny surrounding the New England Patriots regarding the relationship between head coach Bill Belichick and star quarterback Tom Brady.

Things have remained a bit uncertain with all that has occurred regarding his usage of a personal trainer Alex Guerrero and how that has impacted the team. Despite all of that, Belichick has voiced that he believes there aren't any lingering issues between himself and Brady, according to Ryan Hannable of WEEI Radio.

As for his relationship with the quarterback, it seems like nothing has changed.

“I have a good relationship with all our players,” Belichick said. “I always have.”

This relationship between these two has been at the center of attention over the last several months with Guerrero access to the team being limited due to what was perceived as being divisive to the team given that more players were starting to use Brady's trainer rather than the team medical staff. It was once again a topic of discussion after Belichick's decision to sit arguably their best defensive back in former Pro Bowl cornerback Malcolm Butler in Super Bowl 52 that he has yet to get a clear reason for the move.

There was also all the noise regarding the trade of Jimmy Garoppolo, who had been long tabbed as the eventual replacement for Brady but the 40-year-old has continued to show no decline in his play or desire to stop playing at this point of his career. This entire situation has remained in the limelight because of Belichick's decision to downplay any internal dysfunction that numerous reports have previously stated there have been.

It is something that may never get fully addressed by either side as the focus around the team has now shifted toward preparing for the 2018 season.
