Teams have had to take unprecedented action in order to preparer the 2020 NFL season amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Although training camp may be just around the corner, this has not stopped New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick from securing endorsements.

Belichick was recently spotted filming a Subway commercial in Branford, Connecticut, via John Pierson of WTNH-TV:

Despite being widely regarded as the greatest coach in NFL history, Bill Belichick has never been one to stay in the spotlight. Regardless, it seems the opportunity to get paid while digging into cold cuts was too good for him to pass up.

After all, it has been a whirlwind offseason for the Patriots following the departure of quarterback Tom Brady. While it initially appeared as though they were ready to move forward with Jarrett Stidham under center in the 2020 campaign, the team made a splash by signing Cam Newton to be Brady's successor.

Belichick and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will be busy tailoring the offense to better fit Newton's skill set as a dual-threat option out of the backfield. It is safe to say that his physical attributes will allow the coaching staff to experiment much more than they did with Brady under center.

Expectations have still been tempered for New England heading into the 2020 campaign. Belichick and company will have a point to make on why their system enjoyed so much success over the last two decades.

Fortunately, it appears the coaching staff will be able to enjoy some Subway sandwiches during meetings on Belichick's tab.
