Jamie Collins is back in New England for a second stint with the Patriots, and this time, he is doing things a bit differently.

That's not to say that Collins' first go-around with the Pats was bad. After all, he made a Pro Bowl in 2015 before being traded to the Cleveland Browns midway through the following season.

But Collins says he wants things to be different overall:

“I'm trying to change — in general and as a man,” said Collins, according to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com.

Collins noted his family as a reason for his decision to change, saying that he now really has something to play for:

“It's always a part of it — playing for your family, especially when you have kids,” said Collins. “You always have to find that ‘Why?' Sometimes when it's just you, it's hard for you [to find it]. As long as you have someone to play for, you're good. And I do.”

The 29-year-old was also thrilled to hear that head coach Bill Belichick praised his work thus far:

“From him, that's music to my ears,” Collins said. “It's an honor to hear that type of response from him. I really do appreciate it. It makes me feel even better, and makes me want to come to work even more.”
