The New England Patriots selected N'Keal Harry with the No. 32 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and they are hoping he can bounce back from a quiet rookie season. With Harry showing improvement to begin the season, Julian Edelman shared how he's been helping Harry improve as a wide receiver.

“I just kind of share with him little things that helped me when I was young,” the 34-year-old receiver said in a video conference. “We’ve all been young in the locker room, we’ve all been new to an environment, and I don’t know anywhere else, but here it’s a little different, I guess. That’s what everyone says. You just try to give him little tidbits on things that make things more routine and comfortable for him.

In his rookie season, Harry was only able to suit up in seven games for the Patriots due to injury. The Arizona State product caught just 12 passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns in those seven games.

Through the first two weeks of the 2020 season, Harry has already tallied more receptions (13) and more receiving yards (111) than he did a season ago. While the second-year wideout continues to better his game, Edelman wants him to feel open to asking him questions.

“So that’s what I try do, lead by example, if I see something that could be better … if I see something or if he has a question, I could be the guy that he can ask a question to, so that’s what I try to do.”

Besides Edelman, Cam Newton revealed that he's seen the growth from Harry from the moment he joined New England this offseason. Even though he's been labeled a bust by some, Harry is beginning to prove why he was a first-round selection in 2019.
