The New England Patriots suffered their second loss of the 2019 NFL season at the hands of the Houston Texans in Week 13. Regardless, wide receiver Julian Edelman is not ready to press the panic button.

Edelman took to Instagram to show that all is still well in New England:

There is certainly good reason for Edelman to be optimistic. The Patriots have seemingly been in this position time and time again where a few signs of weakness lead to speculation about the dynasty finally coming to an end. More often than not, they have proven that is hardly the case and are in a position to do so once again at 10-2 heading into the final stretch of the 2019 campaign.

Of course, the time has come for New England to show why they are still bonafide championship contenders in the AFC. They have already dropped two high-profile matchups against potential playoff opponents in Houston and the Baltimore Ravens. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills are breathing down their neck in the division with a 9-3 record.

Fortunately, the Patriots will have a chance to make quite the statement when they host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14. A win over the high-powered Chiefs would dispel any notion of their unraveling before the postseason while also maintaining their lead over the Bills before their pivotal showdown in Week 16.

There is no question that quarterback Tom Brady will need Edelman to provide a much-needed spark for this receiving corps if they hope to keep up with this explosive Kansas City offense.
