The New England Patriots have once against earned another Super Bowl appearance after a thrilling 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, it also made the organization the first in league history to have 10 trips to that stage of the playoffs.

Since Tom Brady has taken over the helm as the starting quarterback back in 2001, the Patriots have been the standard bearer in the NFL over that span. This has especially been the case in last few seasons with reaching the Super Bowl in three out of the last four years.

It also proves that Brady still has plenty more left in the tank despite being 40 years old. He certainly put that on display on Sunday with a highly efficient performance with 290 passing yards on 26-of-38 completed passes with a pair of touchdowns and no interceptions while holding a 108.4 passer rating. This included orchestrating a pair of touchdown drives in the fourth quarter to overcome a 10-point deficit in the period.

This latest feat only further solidifies the legacy of both Brady and head coach Bill Belichick to build what has been nothing short of a dynasty in New England. They have been the most successful franchise over nearly the last two decades with 15 AFC East division titles, 15 playoff appearances, 12 trips to the AFC Championship Game, eight Super Bowl berths, and 16 double-digit win seasons.

The level of sustained success over that span is unrivaled and doesn't appear like it will be coming to an end anytime soon even with the report of tension around the team prior to the playoffs. All of that has continued to be silenced with the amount of success they have on the field. New England is now in the position to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl champions since they did so back in the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
