The New England Patriots have been barely coming away with wins this season. Every game seems to come down to the wire with one or two plays dictating the outcome. Tom Brady is the first to admit his part of the blame for the team's struggles.

The five-time Super Bowl champion recently talked about missed opportunities in the passing game and how he needs to do better moving forward, via ESPN's Mike Reiss.

“Some of these games wouldn't be as close if I was playing better in the red area,” Brady said. “I think some of those missed opportunities in the pass game with me hitting guys would really help our team. Hopefully I can do a better job for this team.”

Despite not being the dominant force everyone expected, the Patriots are still firing on all cylinders while in first place in the AFC East. Brady and company are currently sporting a 4-2 record.
