New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, just like most sports fans, isn’t a fan of players flopping while in the middle of a contest. When Belichick saw Miami Dolphins cornerback apparently showing off his method acting chops on the field during Sunday’s game in Foxboro, the future Hall of Famer football tactician exploded into the ear of a game official.

It does not take a doctoral degree in lip-reading to get a grasp of what exactly Belichick told the referee.

McCain was fine during that play as he was able to walk under his own power. He even returned to the field later in the game. However, he eventually exited the game after suffering a genuine knee injury in the second half.

As for the Patriots, no amount of chicanery from the Dolphins was able to stop them from getting away with a decisive 38-7 victory. The Patriots were pressured to win that game, as another loss would have given them a 1-3 record. Instead, the defending AFC champions are now 2-2 and back on track.

The Patriots are on a short week, as they only have a few days to rest and prepare before a Thursday Night Football showdown with Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts at home.
