New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick took a second to surprise NFL Network broadcaster Rich Eisen with a check for his Run Rich Run cause that benefits St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Eisen was in the middle of covering all the events at the combine in Indianapolis when he noticed Belichick entering the booth.

The Patriots legend wasn't there to discuss draft prospects, and instead, gave Eisen another generous check to help the cause.

And you can tell by Eisen's reaction just how much the gesture from Belichick meant:

It's easy to focus only on the on-the-field stuff, but this is what it's all about.

Coaches and players all around the league give back on a regular basis, and while it may not get the same type of attention as mock drafts or trade rumors, it's still important to recognize gestures like this one.

And while many NFL fans may not cheer for Belichick and the Patriots during games, it's hard to ignore the awesomeness of a feel-good moment.

Eisen has been running the 40-yard dash at the combine since 2005, and he does it to give back and offer more support to all those involved with St. Jude.

As Eisen mentioned on the broadcast, donations for Run Rich Run can be made at NFL.com.
