Jrue Holiday will be getting some extra compensation for his work on the boards this season.

According to ESPN's Bobby Marks, Holiday has now met the bonus criteria for rebounds per game with the New Orleans Pelicans. The 28-year-old point guard is owed a $255K bonus for playing in 67 games and averaging 3.15 rebounds this season.

Following a stellar 30-point performance in Monday's 115-112 victory over the Utah Jazz, Holiday kept the train rolling into the Pelicans' second-straight matchup against the Jazz on Wednesday. He hasn't appeared even a bit distracted by the noise that clung to the organization prior to the trade deadline, and his team has actually been getting the job done recently in decent fashion – currently on a three-game winning streak (prior to Wednesday's game against Utah).

“We've been in most of our games and down the stretch we didn't just complete the game,” Holiday told reporters following Monday's win. “As of late we've been doing a really good job of executing and getting big wins.”

Jrue Holiday has arguably been the New Orleans Pelicans' best player since the Anthony Davis debacle begun over a month ago. Holiday is averaging a career-high 21.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 7.8 assists, and 1.6 steals on 47.2 percent shooting from the field in 10th NBA season.
