It probably isn't smart to jump against New Orleans Pelicans rookie sensation Zion Williamson. Miami Heat big man Bam Adebayo learned that the hard way on Friday.

At 6-foot-6 and 285 pounds with elite athleticism and an insane vertical, Williamson is a high-speed wrecking ball when he drives to the rim. As for Adebayo, the third-year pro has proven to be one of the best defensive big men in the league.

When matched up against each other there could only be one winner. It just happened to be the Pelicans' power forward in this situation.

Known for his power, Williamson showed some grace and finesse on the layup while still portraying incredible power that comes from his immense frame.

After missing the first half of the Pelicans season due to injury, the 2019 No. 1 pick has put the league on notice. Through 17 games, Williamson is averaging 24.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 58.2 percent from the field.
