The Detroit Pistons are expected to have star guard Jaden Ivey when the team plays its next game against the Chicago Bulls. Ivey is expected to be good to go for Sunday's game, per NBC Sports Chicago. Ivey hasn't played since a November 2 loss to the Pelicans.

Ivey has been out and rumors have swirled about the health of the young star. The combo guard missed four games for Detroit, but the team's certainly excited to have him back in the lineup against Chicago. Detroit is 2-8 and needing to rattle off some wins to get some confidence going for its young club.

Ivey is expected to immediately help Cade Cunningham and the Pistons offense with ball handling. He can also provide scoring. Ivey is averaging just under 12 points a game for Detroit, while shooting 49 percent from the field. He's averaging 2.5 rebounds a game this season, and the same amount in assists. Ivey's playing just under 21 minutes a game, and the Pistons are hoping to bump up those numbers in an effort to help the team's young offense.

Cade Cunningham is leading Detroit in scoring with nearly 24 points per game. Ivey and Cunningham sometimes play off each other in the offense, but Ivey helps the team in multiple ways. It's not certain if Ivey will be starting for the team right away but he is expected to get a good chunk of minutes for Detroit.

Ivey's not the only Piston returning from injury. Alec Burks is also expected to be back in the rotation for the Pistons. The Pistons and Bulls tip-off at 7:00 Eastern on Sunday. Chicago is 3-6 on the season.
