Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has had a busy windup heading into her first WNBA season, especially with all the hype surrounding his entry into the league following a decorated collegiate career with Iowa.
Among the events Clark missed was her graduation from the University of Iowa, where she took up marketing, specializing in professional sales and management. But Clark's teammates with the Fever made sure she still somehow got to experience her walk to receive her “diploma.”
Prior to the start of the team's final day at training camp, Aliyah Boston and the rest of the Indiana Fever players and staff formed a graduation march tunnel for Caitlin Clark, the team posted on social media network X, formerly known as Twitter. At the end of the tunnel, Caitlin Clark received a “diploma” from Boston for her graduation from Iowa.
Clark approved the team's simple gesture with a thumbs up, with her Fever teammates and staff letting out cheers for the fresh graduate and rising WNBA star.

Caitlin Clark reflects Fever's run up to showdown vs Connecticut

Following their final training camp session, Caitlyn Clark reflected on the team's run up prior to her WNBA debut against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday, as well as her personal insight on the road ahead.
“So, I feel now like getting out there for the first time,” Clark said (via ClutchPoints' Matthew Byrne). “I’m just really excited and it’ll be super special … this is what you kind of worked for and dreamed of and now you get to put your jersey on for like, the first real time and go out there and play.”

Clark is not taking the Sun lightly, as she is ready for the task ahead against last season's third-seed, and second best, in a competitive Eastern Conference.
“I think [to] just enjoy it and it's going to be competitive, they're [Connecticut Sun] really good, so you gotta prep[are] the right way too. But more than anything, we're ready for the challenge.”
