PSG is preparing to lose talisman Kylian Mbappe this summer as he eyes a dream move to Real Madrid on a free transfer. That being said, they will need to find a replacement for their most productive player.

According to Football Insider, PSG is interested in Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku, who is clearly not enjoying life at Stamford Bridge. The Belgian has struggled to find his footing with the Blues and reportedly wants to quit after completing a big-money move last summer from Inter Milan.

Lukaku is barely playing nowadays under Thomas Tuchel, with Kai Havertz being favored up top. He did sign a long-term deal with Chelsea, but PSG is evidently willing to offer him a way out. Lionel Messi and Neymar aren't exactly scoring goals at a high rate and it's no secret the club will need another lethal finisher to come in and step into Mbappe's place once he departs for the Spanish capital. The French giants believe Lukaku could be that man.

There are also rumors that Messi could complete a shocking return to boyhood club Barcelona, which means PSG may have a very different look next term. The relationship between Tuchel and Lukaku is said to be tense, which essentially points to his exit.

Paris was knocked out of the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage by Real Madrid and only has the Ligue 1 title left to play for. Their star-studded attacking duo could be done already. Perhaps, Romelu Lukaku is a viable option.
