The Las Vegas Raiders upset the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving, using a late field goal to steal a turkey day victory. However, the win was a bittersweet one, as Raiders tight end Darren Waller sustained a knee injury. Fortunately, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport provided an update on the status of Waller and it contained one good sign on the Raiders star's status.

That sounds like a good sign for Darren Waller and the Raiders. Of course, it doesn't mean that Waller isn't dealing with a significant injury, but it's at least comforting for Raiders fans to know that he wasn't in horrible pain late last night, especially given how painful the injury looked live.

As Rapoport noted, Las Vegas will have Waller go for an MRI, which will reveal the true extent of his injury. The Raiders and their fans will hope that it is just a minor ailment, as it's not the first injury that Waller has dealt with this season.

Waller is coming off of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and is well on his way to another this year, as the Georgia Tech product has cemented himself as one of the best tight ends in the NFL.

Hopefully, this recent update on the Darren Waller knee injury bodes well for he and the Raiders. Stay tuned for an update following the MRI.
