The speculation just got stronger with Derek Carr following Bell on Twitter after the trade deal for Brown, as noted by Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

The Raiders' quarterback knows he is going to need help in a division that has Patrick Mahomes, Phillip Rivers, and yes, Joe Flacco in it. There's just a ā€œsmallā€ dropoff from Mahomes and Rivers to Flacco.

The Raiders have nearly $61 million in cap space to spend this summer. As a result, they are fully capable of bringing in a guy like Bell who commands a hefty price tag.

It's uncertain if the Raiders intend to bring back Marshawn Lynch at the running back position. Bringing Bell in would all but end the possibility of Lynch returning to Oakland.
