The Las Vegas Raiders could very well have running back Josh Jacobs and tight end Darren Waller back in time for Week 8.

Jacobs and Waller are dealing with injuries, but based on the latest update from interim head coach Rich Biscaccia, it looks like the two offensive players will be able to suit up for the team when they face the New York Giants on the road.

According to Bisaccia, Jacobs has a chest contusion, which he sustained during Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the injury isn't serious and the Raiders coach said he “should be fine.”

“We didn’t think there were any issues with him today. He had a good workout today,” Bisaccia said Monday, per Pro Football Talk.

As for Waller–who missed their 33-22 win over the Eagles due to ankle injury–Rich Bisaccia highlighted that he is day-to-day. He noted that Waller doesn't have any fracture or break in his ankle, though he will be staying in Las Vegas for the week to get treatment.

It certainly helps the Raiders that they have a bye week, which means both Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller have two weeks to recover from their physical ailments. That is something Las Vegas really needs right now as they attempt to keep their position at the top of the AFC West.

The Los Angeles Chargers are well on the tail of the Raiders, so Las Vegas knows they can't afford to slip. Having two of their weapons back surely helps their case in maintaining their standing.
