The Oakland Raiders apparently weren't done looking for wide receiver help even though they picked up Jordy Nelson to replace Michael Crabtree. After acquiring the former Green Bay Packer, they then traded a third-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers for speedster Martavis Bryant during the draft.

According to Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area, Nelson is pumped to team up with the “very talented” Bryant on that suddenly dangerous-looking Raiders receiving corps.

“He’s very talented,” Nelson said. “Everyone has seen what Martavis has done in Pittsburgh. He’s another threat to put out there in the passing game. He’s another big threat as well. We have a few big guys to line up and hopefully create some mismatches. We’re looking forward to him playing with us. We’re excited to see him get on the field and get after it.”

Bryant didn’t quite have the season many were expecting last year upon his return from a year-long suspension in 2016. He had just 603 yards on 50 catches with three touchdowns as he saw his role in the Pittsburgh offense limited by the emergence of rookie JuJu Smith-Schuster. After requesting for a trade during the season, the Steelers finally pulled the trigger on a deal in the draft.

Bryant will still have competition for touches in Oakland with Nelson and Amari Cooper also capable of being consistent playmakers for quarterback Derek Carr. But Bryant does provide that game-changing big-play ability that could unlock a lot of things for the Raiders offense this season if they can utilize him properly.
