The Oakland Raiders parted ways with some serious talent last season en route to earning a trio of first-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. With the No. 24 overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Raiders notably selected former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Josh Jacobs, who has already caught the eye of at least one NFL legend.

Former Raiders running back and Pro Football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen couldn't be more excited to watch Jacobs make his way from the collegiate ranks to the highest level of the NFL.

“I'm really looking forward to seeing him,” Allen recently said, via 247 Sports. “I followed him at Alabama and getting to know him, I think he's a great individual too. So I'm looking forward to him getting off to a great start his rookie season and playing as well as I think he's going to play.”

Of course, the Raiders encountered quite the busy offseason this time around. In addition to adding three first round picks to the team's 2019 roster, Oakland also managed to secure All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown via trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Even after leaving Pittsburgh on some tumultuous terms, Brown will no doubt serve as an immediate impact playing for the Raiders in 2019.

However, it is also worth noting that the upstart Raiders will still need to compete against both the surging Kansas City Chiefs and always dangerous Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC West division. Not only that, but the Denver Broncos should be better next season as well.
