The Oakland Raiders suffered yet another disappointing 26-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers that saw them notably struggle offensively.

This saw a similar situation arise for former Pro Bowl running back Marshawn Lynch in the fourth quarter with a goal-line situation that saw yet another interception thrown with Derek Carr on the one-yard line instead of running the ball. In response to that, Lynch voiced some disappointment with how things unfolded but didn't push back, according to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.

It was quite a similar situation that compared to Super Bowl XLIX where the Seattle Seahawks had elected to pass the ball rather than run it in with Lynch. That instance resulted in Russell Wilson attempting to squeeze in a pass before it was picked off by b by former New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler to seal his team's fate.

This situation has made it easier for Lynch more willing to live with the result as the previous had occurred on the grandest stage. It is something that is still a puzzling decision as Lynch had been their goal line running back but elected to make a tough throw in traffic over the middle of the field that allowed for the Patriots to swoop in to make a play.

What makes this time around more intriguing as it was a spot that the Raiders could have elected to run the ball as it was on first down. There were opportunities to pound it in with Lynch once or twice given how close they were along with him being such a hard and physical runner that could push his way in. Nonetheless, Oakland now has the chance to learn from that situation first hand to put it in the 32-year-old's hands to punch it firmly into the end zone.
