Aaron Donald admitted he had a plan all along to play just eight seasons in the NFL, but after the Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl LVI, he might have a change of heart.

Speaking on the I Am Athlete podcast, Donald shared that winning is truly addicting, which is why he had thoughts about coming back to get that feeling again.

“Winning the Super Bowl, you get kind of a little addicted to it. I want to feel that again though, I ain't gonna lie,” Donald said, per The Spun.

Aaron Donald, however, highlighted that he is not feeling compelled to return. He is working on a new contract with the Rams, and while he believes everything will work out just fine, he highlighted that a deal has to “make sense” for him and his family.

If not, he is at peace about moving on.

“That experience is like none other. If I was to play, it's just to win another Super Bowl. But at the end of the day, it's still a business and it's got to make sense for me and my family.”

Donald is a key part of the Rams in their Super Bowl run during the 2021 season. If he decided to hang it up for good, it will certainly be a huge blow to LA.

Fortunately, their Super Bowl victory might just open the door for them to run it back with the superstar defensive tackle.
