Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is coming off of one of the greatest seasons in NFL history. Yet the 2021 Offensive Player of the Year still thinks he can get even better.

Kupp was arguably the most surprising star of the 2021 season. In both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Kupp proved to be a legitimate receiving threat. But he unlocked a new level to his game this past year.

The star wide receiver finished the season with a stat sheet that left many in shock. He led the NFL in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.

His 145 receptions, 1,947 yards, and 16 touchdowns led to him finishing the year with the triple-crown. He is just the fourth player in NFL history to finish a season leading in all three categories.

In his first season playing alongside Matthew Stafford, Kupp reached all the highs that the game can offer. The duo took the league by storm. Kupp, who took home Super Bowl MVP, as well as earned All-Pro honors, will look to build on this success next season.

In a recent episode of Behind the Grind, Kupp had this to say regarding his goals for next season.

“But for me, it's not about getting more yards, more catches, more touchdowns. It's not about that as much as being a better football player. I want to be a better football player than I was the year before.”

Given that Kupp has already achieved the highs of football, this sort of mindset should excite those around him. His dedication to the game should set him up to be an even better player in 2022.

The loss of Odell Beckham Jr. could lead to Kupp being under even more pressure next season. The arrival of Allen Robinson will help alleviate some of the focus that Kupp will have, but defenses will be sure to key in on the star receiver.

With Kupp all but cementing himself as a top receiver in the NFL, there's a chance he could be even better this season.
