The Los Angeles Rams fell to the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night and came out with a few more injuries. Among the few injuries that occurred, Jalen Ramsey is dealing with a knee injury.

The All-Pro cornerback left for a brief amount of time in the first quarter of Saturday's contest. As a matter of fact, Ramsey was originally listed as doubtful to return to the game due to a knee ailment.

But after the defense returned to the field, Ramsey was seen putting his helmet back on. The Rams No. 1 cornerback would play through the injury for the rest of the game.

Despite the injury, Ramsey was able to corral his first interception since joining the Rams in Week 7. Even though it's his first interception with Los Angeles, he's made his presence felt in the Rams' defense.

Since joining the Rams, Ramsey has been tasked with covering the opposing team's best wide receiver. That shouldn't come as a surprise with Ramsey being one of the best man-to-man cover corners in the NFL.

With a loss in Week 16, Los Angeles was eliminated from playoff contention. There's no doubt that it was a disappointing season for a team who was representing the NFC in the Super Bowl in 2018.

Heading into Week 17, Ramsey is still recovering from the knee injury that he sustained early in Saturday's contest. The Rams will undoubtedly want to be cautious with Ramsey as the season comes to a close. Considering that Sunday's game holds no merit for Los Angeles, it's safe to expect the 24-year-old cornerback to sit in Week 17.
