Reggie Bush’s NFL career may very well be over. But the 33-year-old running back is still set to get one last big payday from an NFL team-the Los Angeles Rams.

That’s after a St. Louis jury has found in favor of him in his lawsuit against the Rams, who were found liable of the severe knee injury he suffered at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis in 2015, as Joel Currier of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The Los Angeles Rams have been ordered to pay Bush a total of $12.5 million-$4.95 million in compensatory damages and $7.5 million in punitive damages.

“I'm very happy with the verdict,” Bush told the Post-Dispatch after the verdict. “The people spoke and decided very fairly.”

Bush was playing for the San Francisco 49ers in a game against the St. Louis Rams on Nov. 1, 2015. He was returning a punt when he was pushed out of bounds, then slipped and fell a strip of exposed concrete behind the 49ers bench and suffered a season-ending knee injury. He eventually filed a suit against the Rams and two other public agencies in 2016.

Bush returned from the aforementioned knee injury to play for the Buffalo Bills in 2016. He had a horrific season, totaling just 87 total yards from scrimmage in 13 games and has not signed for anyone since.

The No. 2 pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, Bush has played 11 total seasons in the league for five different teams (the Saints, Lions, Dolphins, 49ers, and Bills). He helped the Saints win the Super Bowl in 2010.
