The Los Angeles Rams are currently taking on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Whoever wins will head to Super Bowl 56 to face off against the Cincinnati Bengals. Unfortunately, LA has been hit with the injury bug early on in this matchup. Hopefully, Cam Akers and Tyler Higbee can bounce back soon.

According to Steve Wyche, Cam Akers fell to a shoulder injury and is being evaluated for now. Additionally, Tyler Higbee is in the exact same situation but for his knee. These are two valuable assets to the Rams offense and it could be detrimental if they don't return.

We'll see if they can bounce back and help the Rams overcome the 49ers. If not, then there will be growing concerns for their availability in the Super Bowl if LA ends up winning this game. This is a situation that will be closely monitored, as Los Angeles hopes they can get Akers and Higbee to return in the lineup.

The good news is that LA has an extremely talented offense. Even without Cam Akers and Tyler Higbee, the Rams are more than capable of driving the field and scoring. Cooper Kupp has been the best receiver in the league this year while Odell Beckham Jr. is a high-end second option. Furthermore, Matthew Stafford has been playing some of the best football we've seen from him throughout this career.

It'll be interesting to see how this game plays out, as the 49ers match up well against the Rams. San Francisco has had their number lately, which doesn't bode well for Los Angeles.

Luckily for the Rams, it seems Cam Akers has returned to the lineup. Tyler Higbee's status was downgraded to out during the third quarter. Keep an eye on Los Angeles as they gear up to finally defeat the 49ers and go to the Super Bowl.
