Following the New York Giants making it publicly known that Odell Beckham Jr.'s future with the team is up in the air, trade chatter has surrounded the organization as they fielding offers. One of the teams that have been most aggressive on this front is the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams are rumored to have great interest in acquiring the Pro Bowl wideout this offseason. According to Vincent Bonsignore of the LA Daily News, the team has made their intentions clear and are simply waiting to hear a response from the Giants concerning Beckham Jr.'s availability.

The cards are on the table for the Giants to decide whether they want to keep their star wide receiver or move on from him altogether. There will be several teams aside from the Rams that will show plenty of interest in working out a trade for Beckham Jr. if he can be had.

The behavioral issues aside, the 25-year-old has quickly established himself as arguably the top receiver in the league through his first four seasons in the league while producing at a record-setting pace. New York has reportedly placed a high asking price on him that starts at two first-round selections. There is also the matter of his contract situation, as he is in the fifth-year option of his rookie deal, which makes an extension a pressing matter regardless if he is moved or not.

Through this process, the Rams have remained in the picture as a potential landing spot, as they are rumored to have already made their first-round pick in this year's draft available in trade talks. The team also possesses other assets in draft picks and players that could help them work out a deal.

The addition of Beckham Jr. would provide Los Angeles with a legitimate No.1 wide receiver that Pro Bowl quarterback Jared Goff could utilize greatly in the passing game next season, and potentially well beyond that. With the Rams waiting on the Giants to respond, things could pick up on this end in the coming weeks heading into the draft later.
