With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing NFL players and teams to quarantine in recent months, a regular offseason is out of the question. However, even with the majority of the offseason being virtual, that hasn't stopped the Los Angeles Rams from getting future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning to come speak to the team.

Obviously, with the whole pandemic situation, Manning met the team virtually. According to a team official, per Los Angeles Times, Manning spoke with the team for 30 minutes and answered questions for another 30 minutes.

Manning is the second guest speaker to talk to the Rams this summer. Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers spoke to the team earlier in the offseason.

Rams linebacker Micah Kiser took to Twitter to express what it was like to hear Manning talk.

“As an aspiring ball guy and young player, getting to hear a raw and unfiltered Peyton Manning talk ball was absolutely incredible,” kiser wrote.

As for Manning, the 44-year-old spent 17 seasons dominating the NFL with both the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. He was a 14-time Pro Bowler, seven-time First-Team All-Pro member, five-time MVP, and two-time Super Bowl champion.

The Rams took a step back after making the Super Bowl in 2019. Los Angeles would go 9-7 and finish in third place in the NFC West while missing the playoffs for just the first time in Sean McVay's three seasons as head coach. With a motivational talk from one of the best players in NFL history though, they will look to get back to being contenders again.
