Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley is still considered day-to-day after missing yet another team practice on Thursday.

Gurley has been dealing with a knee injury that he suffered in the 30-23 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15, which caused him to miss last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

However, with the star running back sidelined once again, there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to his status for this weekend.

From ESPN's Lindsey Thiry:

Sean McVay said Thursday that Todd Gurley remains day-to-day because of his left knee, and that Gurley would not participate in practice.

Gurley has put together yet another excellent season with 256 carries for 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns while also adding 59 receptions for 580 yards and four scores.

McVay and company will continue to run the Los Angeles offense through Gurley, so it's essential that he gets back to full strength before the playoff run.

Even with the Rams having their fair share of struggles in recent weeks, this is still one of the best offensive teams in the NFL when things are clicking in both the rushing and passing attack.

So, getting Gurley back in the lineup is undoubtedly the top priority at this point for a team that has Super Bowl aspirations.

The Rams will finish up the regular season on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, and it likely wouldn't be all that surprising to see Gurley sit out once again to make sure that he's completely healed for the postseason.
