The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals will square off Sunday at Super Bowl LVI. It's the second consecutive season (and second all-time) where a team will play at home in the Super Bowl. But not all the news is good for the Rams as tight end Tyler Higbee's chances of playing are looking less and less likely.

Higbee remains considered day-to-day with the knee injury he sustained in the NFC Championship against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Rams did not have an actual practice Wednesday. Instead, they held a walk through. But Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay, while speaking to the media, acknowledged that if they had held a practice, Higbee would not have participated.

Higbee had a solid season for the Rams and became an important part of the red zone offense. Higbee caught 61 passes for 560 yards and five touchdowns this season.

After Higbee went down versus the 49ers, backup tight end Kendall Blanton filled in admirably. He caught all five of his targets for 57 yards.

Meanwhile, the Bengals have also been dealing with a tight end to their starting tight end. C.J. Uzomah also suffered a knee injury during the AFC Championship versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor expressed optimism about his tight end's availability to play Sunday.
