Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks remains in concussion protocol, but that didn't stop him from having fun on social media. As he continues to recover from a concussion, Cooks showed off his Joker costume on Thursday.

Just last Friday, the Joker movie starring Joaquin Phoenix hit theaters with roaring reviews coming from it. Apparently, the Rams' wide receiver is quite the fan of the psychotic Batman villain.

Even Sean McVay thought seeing his speedy wide receiver in the Joker costume was “weird.” Along with that, Los Angeles' head coach said that he believes Cooks “looks good” ahead of Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Last week, Cooks suffered a concussion after catching a pass from Jared Goff in the fourth quarter versus the Seattle Seahawks. Upon making the reception, Cooks landed awkwardly on his head and the medical staff tended to him.

Luckily for the Rams, their talented pass-catcher was able to walk off of the field under his own power. Cooks finished last Thursday's game with just one catch for 29 yards before he made an early exit.

Through the first five games of this season, Cooks has caught 20 passes for 325 yards and a touchdown. Even with the so-called slow start, Cooks is still on pace to surpass 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth straight season. Last year, Cooks became the first receiver in NFL history to garner over 1,000 receiving yards in three straight seasons with three different teams.

As Cooks continues to make progress in the concussion protocol, we may have a hint on who he will be for Halloween at the end of the month.
