The Los Angeles Rams and Nickell Robey-Coleman are squaring off with the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 10. It may be surprising to some that when halftime rolled around, it was Pittsburgh with a 14-7 lead.

However, that does not mean the first half was without highlights for the Rams. Los Angeles had a number of impressive plays. One of the biggest was by cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman. He channelled his inner Charles Tillman to get the “Peanut Punch” fumble, creating the only turnover of the first half for the Steelers.

That was James Washington on the reception. The receiver was ready to put the team in fantastic field position with just over two minutes to go in the first half. Instead, Robey-Coleman went full boxing mode.

That was a straight downward punch at the ball. He clearly saw his opportunity and had one goal on that play, to knock the ball free and get his team possession back.

Robey-Coleman did just that. Unfortunately, the Rams could not capitalize. In fact, not only did they not score, they ended up giving up a touchdown to the Steelers before the end of the half.

Los Angeles may be down at the half, but it's clear they can make winning plays. That play by Nickell Robey-Coleman is one that good teams usually capitalize on. So if he makes another one in the second half, don't expect the Rams to squander the opportunity again.

Los Angeles found themselves down 14-7 at the half. However, there's a full half left to go and anything can happen. If they keep making defensive plays like this, it's hard to see them losing.
