The Toronto Raptors are getting All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry back on Tuesday against the Miami Heat.

Lowry will start versus the Heat after missing 11 straight games due to a thumb injury.

Lowry is averaging 21.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game this season for the Raptors while shooting 47.8 percent from the floor, 42.6 percent from beyond the arc and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Toronto is 15-4 on the season. The Raptors have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference.

Lowry signed a one-year, $31 million extension with the Raptors in October. He put up 14.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.7 assists during the 2018-19 regular season while shooting 41.1 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from beyond the arc and 83.0 percent from the free-throw line.

In the 2019 playoffs, Lowry put up 15.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists. The Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals in six games.

Toronto has to be excited to get Lowry back. Forward Pascal Siakam has been playing like an MVP sans Lowry. He's averaging 25.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists on the season. Siakam is well on his way to making his first All-Star team this season.

Lowry will probably be rusty in his return, but the Raptors are just relieved to see their floor general back in the fold.
