Normally, people of Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka’s size would rather eat than dabble in the kitchen. Then again, not every big man is Serge Ibaka, who recently launched his own YouTube channel dedicated to his passion for making recipes.

For his channel’s first episode, Ibaka invited over to his kitchen Bismack Biyombo, who also hails from Congo, to try the Raptors forward’s prepared meal. Biyombo initially had no idea what Ibaka had prepared for him, but he had a hilarious reaction once he realized what exactly it was that Ibaka made him chew, which was a cow’s tongue.

A cow’s tongue isn’t something a typical American family would have for a meal but Ibaka also said that his love for the recipe began when his family once didn’t have any food other than that particular cow muscle. In other words, his love affair with beef tongue was born out of necessity and not out of curiosity.

It’s nice to see Serge Ibaka show his other side, as basketball fans usually just see him on the court, swatting shots and stretching the floor with his 3-point shooting.

If eating a cow’s tongue would make Bismack Biyombo play as well as Serge Ibaka, then the Charlotte Hornets should be hitting the meat market right now.
